ACF branch members and guests are treated to fun and formality Wines from Occitan
Hosted by Peter Cooke, CCF Maitrise and Alain-Pierre Gallet, ACF chef speaker from France; the evening illustrated the characteristics of the Corbieres, Minervois, Fitou, and Chardonnais wines of the Languedoc Roussillon region of France.
Throughout the ‘nose and buds’ tasting, Rosettes awarded chef Kevin Amesbury and Lecturer Manager/maitre d’hotel, John Holden added to the feel good factors with delicious hot canapés from the Canal du Midi, pays d’Aude of the ‘terroir’ d’Oc.
Musical ‘vapours’ from ‘Douce France’ was also a ‘most’.
North West ACF branch President, Richards Grove, fellow lecturers and ACF members, helping students and enthusiastic audience; all contributed to a memorable and well attended event at the North West ACF wine tasting session.
